ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Established in 2016, the TShawStrong Golf Invitational began as a natural combination of Tim Shaw’s love for the game of golf and his dedication to aiding in the search for a cure for ALS.
The goal of the TShawStrong Golf Invitational is simple: to raise as much money as possible to help those who battle ALS every day, as Tim has since his diagnosis in 2014. Through his nonprofit, TShawStrong, Inc., Tim continues to raise money to help those who have been diagnosed with ALS and to aid in the search for a cure. One hundred percent of the proceeds for the TShawStrong Golf Invitational will be put toward his pursuit of that cause. A beautiful, challenging and immaculately maintained course steeped in Tennessee golf history, Old Hickory Country Club is the perfect venue for the all-day charity event that kicks off with lunch before a shotgun start, followed by cocktails, awards, live and silent auctions, dinner, and a casino night. Join us for a great day of golf, entertainment, and camaraderie to help Tim in his fight to end ALS.
